DNA Extraction

Description

Extracting high quality DNA, which is essential for any downstream study, is both laborious and time-consuming. Source BioScience offer DNA extraction in its GLP, GCP, CPA accredited laboratories. Modified supermagnetic particles are used to allow efficient and high quality DNA purification. In addition, the use of automated extraction ensures reliable and consistent quality of DNA, whilst offering a very cost-effective solution. Small bespoke projects can also be handled in-house. Source BioScience can also offer an RNA extraction service and Oragene-DNA extraction

Application

RNA Extraction

Description

Source BioScience offer a RNA extraction service using the Qiagen RNeasy mini prep system. We will be able to obtain up to 100ug of RNA, purifying fragments greater than 200bases. Using this spin column technology we can obtain good quality RNA from good quality samples. On the completion of RNA extraction the sample will undergo standard total RNA QC's. The quantity and 260/280-quality indicator will be measured using the nanodrop and the quality will be assessed using the Agilent Bioanalyser. This will be presented in a report for your reference. Source BioScience also offers DNA extraction, Oragene-DNA extraction and Whole Genome Amplification.
